Matthew Cardona ( born May 14, 1985 in North Merrick, Long Iceland, New York), better known by his ring name Zack Ryder is an American professional wrestler, which occurs in the WWE since 2005. One of his biggest successes is the simple receipt of the WWE United States Championship.

New York Wrestling Connection
Its beginnings made Cardona on August 14, 2004 New York Wrestling Connection ( NYWC short ) as Brett Matthews. In NYCW he was with Brian Myers achieve twice the NYCW Tag Team Championship. His last match he played on 22 April 2006.
WWE
Deep South / Ohio Valley Wrestling
During his time at NYCW denied Cardona on 18 April 2005 a match on Smackdown against Matt Morgan.
In June 2006, Cardona debuted with WWE assembly League Deep South Wrestling ( DSW short ) as Brett Major. In DSW Cardona was allowed to hold twice the DSW Tag Team Championship with his tag team partner Brian Major. After the WWE DSW separated Cardona came to Ohio Valley Wrestling.
In Ohio Valley Wrestling ( OVW short ) debuted Cardona to May 2007. Cardona There could with Brian even hold the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship.
Main Roster
On 1 May 2007 he made his debut as Brett Major in ECW with Brian Major as Major Brothers. A short time later, on 12 June 2007, he was exchanged with its partners in the additional lottery to SmackDown. After she initially competed there as a Major Brothers, they took from 17 December 2007 to new ring name. Since Cardona occurs when Zack Ryder. Cardona rotates Since February 2011, an internet show called " Z! True Long Iceland Story" on Youtube. This was because he was unhappy with his use of time on TV and wanted to draw attention to themselves. Thus he gained followers and sold outside of the WWE shops own merchandise. Due to its growing popularity continued the WWE Cardona again more on TV and since then he's back frequently part of the shows RAW and SmackDown and PPV 's.
