The Journal of Geological Sciences (Journal for the Geological Sciences ) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original research papers primarily from the general field of geological sciences in German and English. The printed journal is published four times a year - two issues may appear as double issues. Abstracts of already published contributions from 2001 onwards can be downloaded for free as an e- text (PDF). Full papers are available through the " publisher of Geosciences Berlin". An indexing of the journal is made in: GeoRef, Chemical Abstracts and Geoline.

History

The "Journal of Geological Sciences " was established in 1973. It is published by Horst Fighting, is independent and committed solely to science. In July 2008, the bilingual website of the magazine was started. The copyright of published posts will be transferred to the journal. This is done with the manuscript is accepted for publication.

Nature of the contributions

• Short Communication can be used for the rapid publication of preliminary and very interesting scientific results.
