Želino

Zelino [ ʒɛlinɔ ] ( Macedonian Желино; Albanian Zhelina or Zhelinë ) is a village in north- western Macedonia. It has 4110 inhabitants (as of 2002) and is headquarters of the Opština Zelino.

Geography

Zelino is in the northwest of the country against the city of Tetovo in the northern part of the Polog level. The village is located at the foot of the Suva Gora at an altitude of 411 meters above the Adriatic. Located northwest of the Vardar flows from southwest to northeast.

To 201.04 square kilometers Opština Zelino still belong next to the main village 17 more villages. Overall, it has 24,390 inhabitants, of which 24,195 are Albanians, Macedonians 71 and 124 belong to other ethnic groups.

Attractions
