Zendek

Zendek ( German Schendek ) is a village in the powiat tarnogórski in Silesia, Poland. It belongs to the rural community Ożarowice.

From 1975 - 1998 the village belonged to Katowice Voivodeship.

Zendek lies on the northern edge of the Upper Silesian plate, about 26 km north of Katowice and 19 km east of the county town of Tarnów Gory. The southern edge of the village adjacent to the airport Katowice.

Education

In the village there is one of two elementary schools ( szkoła podstawowa ) the community. Also you can find a branch of the Library of the community.
