Zenkei Shibayama

Shibayama Zenkei (Japanese柴山 全 庆; * November 30, 1894; † August 29, 1974 ) was abbot of the monastery Nanzen -ji Kyoto and Zen master of the Rinzai school.

In 1961, he undertook, at the invitation of the Hazen Foundation, a first lecture tour in the United States, and have had the opportunity on several lectures and talks at colleges and universities virtually bring his knowledge as a Zen Roshi the West.
