Zhongba County
The circle Zhongba ( Tib: ' brong pa rdzong, Tibetan: འབྲོང་པ་རྫོང་, Drongpa Dzong ) situated in the northwest of the district of Shigatse in Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China. It has an area of 43,594 km ² and 19,493 inhabitants ( end of 2007).
Zhongba comprises roughly the territory of the district until about 1960 passed Zhadün (扎 东). The eponymous former capital is now a small group of partly abandoned houses and the monastery Zhadün (扎 东 寺), in the administrative area of the village Tangxi (唐西 村) in the municipality Labranggosa.
The seat of the county government Zhongbas, the community Labranggosa, consists of administrative buildings, quarters of the Chinese army, a large school for the children of the district belonging to nomads, Chinese shops and some hotels that are frequented especially by travelers to or from Ngari.
