ZÅ‚otna

Złotna ( German Goldbach ) is a place in the Polish Warmian -Masurian and belongs to the urban and rural community of Morag ( Morag ) in Ostródzki powiat (district of Osterode in East Prussia ).

Geographical location

Złotna is located on the northeastern shore of the lake referred to 1945 Bald Auer pond, nine kilometers north of the city of Morag ( Morag ) on a side street, dievon leads Godkowo ( Göttchendorf ) in the province road 513 about Markowo ( Reichertswalde ) for the province road 527 at Zbożne (Godsend ). In Złotna one of Jurki ( George Thal ) ends at the voivodeship 528 coming subordinate road link. A rail connection does not exist.

History

Said to 1945 Goldbach village with good and forester was at the newly established District Reichertswalde (now Russian: Markowo ) incorporated in 1874 and was so until 1945 the district Morag in the district of Königsberg the Prussian province of East Prussia. In 1910, there were 146 people.

On September 30, 1928, the neighboring towns of Abraham Heath joined (today Polish: Borzymowo ), Godsend ( Zbożne ) and Goldbach to the new rural community Goldbach together. The number of inhabitants in 1933 was 361 and in 1939 353

In consequence of the Second World War Goldbach 1945, with the southern East Prussia to Poland and received the Polish name " Złotna ". By 1973, the village in the powiat Moraski ( circle Morag ) was then incorporated until he was assigned to the powiat Ostródzki ( Kreis Osterode ). Today, the town is part of the gmina Morag ( urban and rural community Morag ) in the Warmia and Mazury ( 1975-1998 ) Province Olsztyn ( Olsztyn ).

Church

Before 1945, the population was predominantly Protestant Goldbach's confession. The village was in the parish of Silver Creek (now Polish: Struzyna ) the parish, for the parish of Morag ( Morag ) belonged to the Ecclesiastical Province of East Prussia the Church of the Old Prussian Union.

Today the inhabitants Złotnas are mostly Catholic denomination. The former Protestant Parish Church in Silver Creek is the competent Catholic parish church today. Now it belongs to the deanery in the Diocese of Morag Elbląg ( Elbing ) of the Catholic Church in Poland. Here surviving Protestant church members are now assigned to the parish in Morag. It is a branch church of the parish in Ostróda ( Osterode ) and belongs to the Diocese of the Evangelical - Augsburg Church Mazury in Poland.
