Złotniki Lubańskie

Złotniki Lubańskie [ zwɔtɲiki lubaɲskjɛ ] ( German Gold Dream ) is a village in the rural community Leśna ( Marklissa ) in the powiat Lubański in the Province of Lower Silesia in Poland. It is located on the left bank of the river Queis ( Kwisa ).

History

After the creation of the Sage name of the place, who belonged to oberlausitz between Queiskreis should go back to a gold mine, which was created in 1654 on the order belonging to the reign Czocha reason by the landlord Christoph Nostic. There was a town in 1662, which was initially referred to as Neustädtel. Since the Upper Lusatia since 1635 belonged to the Protestant Electorate of Saxony, gave Elector Johann Georg II on May 20, 1672 the Neustädtel the name gold dream and at the same time gave him the market and mining law. A 1677 allegedly granted privilege as free mountain town should not be detected. The settlers were mostly Protestant religious refugees from Bohemia and Silesia, who had been persecuted in their homeland.

The mining industry was soon discontinued because it was economically less profitable. Therefore, the cloth and linen weaving was promoted in the 17th century. Although for the year 1845 50 cotton and 22 linen weavers are detected, the economic recovery remained weak. The population fed mainly on agriculture and small businesses. Population growth remained negligible. It rose from 348 inhabitants in 1825 to 399 inhabitants in 1939.

After the Congress of Vienna in 1815 gold dream coincided with the Queiskreis and Ostoberlausitz to Prussia. It is now the province of Silesia was struck and lost its city rights. As a rural community, it was the county in 1816 the newly formed Lauban in the district Liegnitz incorporated. In 1834 a fire caused severe damage. From 1874 belonged to the district of Gold Dream Volkersdorf, which consisted of the rural communities gold dream and Rengersdorf and the Gutsbezirk Czocha on 1 January 1908. 1921-24 was the dam gold dream for gold dream.

As a result of the Second World War was gold dream in 1945 to Poland and was renamed Złotniki Lubańskie. The German population was expelled. The newly settled inhabitants were partly forced Ausgesiedelte from eastern Poland. The population dropped to 200 in 1961. Złotniki Lubańskie 1975-1998 belonged to the Province of Jelenia Góra.
