Zombie Attack (English for, Zombie Attack ') is the debut album by the German thrash metal band Tankard from the year 1986., The music magazine Rock Hard counted the album in June 2009 to 250 Thrash Metal albums you should know.
Recording and publication
The album Zombie Attack is the first official studio album, but this went in the years 1984 and 1985, the two demo recordings Heavy Metal Vanguard and Alcoholic Metal advance. On these recordings, the songs were already Mercenary (on Heavy Metal Vanguard ), Poison and Screamin ' Victims and the title track Zombie Attack (all on Alcoholic Metal) published (on both ), Alcohol. Cover design

Reviews and reception
The debut album of the band Tankard Zombie Attack has been praised shortly after the release. So it got the rating of the magazine Rock Hard (issue # 18, 1986) by Holger Stratmann already 8 out of 10 possible points. He described the album as "one of the funniest and by far the best thrash albums ever on the market." In his view Tankard could with other bands on the scene already with the release of Zombie Attack " keep up thick" and have with the album " brought out the ideal Thrash party disc. Together with the second album of the band, Chemical invasion of 1987, Zombie Attack was relaunched in 2005. Another new edition in 2011, 25 years after the first publication, together with all the studio albums that were recorded until 1995.
