ZoneAlarm
ZoneAlarm is the name of a proprietary Personal Firewall by the company Check Point (formerly Zone Labs ) is developed.
History
Since version 6.5, the operating systems Windows 98 SE and ME are no longer supported. Since version 8.0, Windows 2000 is no longer supported. Technical details

Criticism
- In January 2006, ZoneAlarm was suspected encrypted data is sent to the manufacturer. According to the manufacturer it was a bug that was resolved with the subsequent version 6.1.744 on March 1, 2006.
- In the fall of 2010, the user community the free version by means of a bogus virus warning ( scareware ) should be animated to buy the ( chargeable ) Internet Security Suite. The German version was not affected.
