Zsolt Laczkó ( born December 18, 1986 in Szeged ) is a Hungarian football player who currently stands at Sampdoria under contract. He plays the position of left full-back.

Career

Association

In 2004, Laczkó his professional debut with Ferencvaros Budapest and completed 44 games in which he scored 12 results.

On 25 July 2007 he signed a four-year contract with Olympiakos Piraeus, but was soon after loaned out to Greek side PAE Levadiakos. On 4 January 2008, he spent the rest of the season on loan with option to buy English club Leicester City. He made his debut on 12 January in a 2-0 win against Coventry City. He graduated from nine matches in Leicester, which relegation to the third tier at the end of the season. The purchase option was not taken.

Since he could not prevail at Olympiakos, he joined in the summer of 2008 on the Hungarian club Vasas Budapest before moving into the next season on to league rivals Debreceni Vasutas SC. There, he scored two goals in 35 games and ran in all six games in the group stage of the Champions League 2009/ 10. At the end of the season Vasutas was Hungarian champion and Laczkó celebrated his first title. In addition, he won this season also the Hungarian Cup, the Hungarian League Cup and the Hungarian Super Cup.

On 11 January 2011 he signed a contract with the Italian first division club Sampdoria.

National
