Zsuzsa Elekes

Zsuzsa Elekes ( born May 13, 1955 in Budapest) is a Hungarian organist and lecturer at the Béla Bartók Conservatory in Budapest.

Life

Zsuzsa Elekes studied piano, organ, and harpsichord at the Béla Bartók Conservatory of Music and at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in her hometown with Ferenc Gergely and Janos Sebestyen. After she graduated in 1978 with honors, made a grant of the Hungarian state it possible for her two years with Hannes Kästner to study organist at St. Thomas Church in Leipzig. After that, she participated in master classes with Marie -Claire Alain, Jean Guillou, Johannes Ernst Köhler, Michael Radulescu, Michael Schneider, and Luigi Tagliavini.

From 1980 to 1994 Zsuzsa Elekes was a soloist of the Hungarian Philharmonic. Concert tours have taken her to Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, England, France, Italy, Austria, Poland, Romania, the Netherlands and Japan. She has spent more than 20 shots in Hungarian, German, dutch and Japanese record labels. In interpreting competitions they acted as adjudicator.
