Zunduin Khangal

Dsunduin Changal (Mongolian Зундуйн Хангал; * April 27, 1948 in Ulaanbaatar, † 1996) was a Mongolian composer of classical ( "European" ) music.

He attended music school in Almaty 1968-1970. Between 1970 and 1976 he studied at the Conservatory in Sverdlovsk in the Soviet Union.

In the tradition of Soviet music standing, he received the Mongolian State Prize for his String Quartet (1972 ), for his Violin Concerto (1974) and for his ballet music " Ėrdėnėsijn Uul " ( Эрдэнэсийн Уул, Treasure Mountain ') ( 1982). 2000, the Mongolian State Prize, he was again awarded. He composed the music for about 20 films.
