Zweiflingen
Zweiflingen is a municipality in the district of Hohenlohe ( Heilbronn-Franken region ), 8 km north of Öhringen in northeastern Baden -Württemberg. The church was first mentioned in 1230 and today has about 1,800 inhabitants ( as of 2012). Zweiflingen Situated by the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Germanic - Rhaetian Limes.

Geography
Community structure
To Zweiflingen include the former municipalities Orendelsall and Western brook. For the former municipality Orendelsall include the village Orendelsall and Outbound village Bergheim. For the former municipality Westernbach include the village Westernbach and Outbound village Bongartten or tree garden. The municipality Zweiflingen within the frontiers of March 31, 1972 includes the villages of Zweiflingen, Eichach, Friedrich rest, Pfahlbach and Tiefensall and the houses Holy House and Schönau and the disposed villages Ark Fountain, Baningen, Brad Bach, constable Hausen, donkeys village, Focke Weiler, Poppenrodt and Pigs.
The municipality has agreed with the major district town Öhringen and the community Pfedelbach administrative matters.
History
Zweiflingen was first mentioned in documents in 1230. In the 15th century the whole area of today's community came under Hohenlohe rule. The country's division in 1553 led to membership in the county of Hohenlohe- New stone, which in turn was part of the Frankish Empire circle. When the Hohenlohe country lost their independence due to the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss circuit 1806 also Zweiflingen came to the Kingdom of Württemberg, and thence to Oberamt Öhringen ( since 1938: County Öhringen ). With the district reform in 1972, the congregation joined the newly formed district of Hohenlohe.
Incorporations
On April 1, 1972, the community was incorporated Orendelsall; on September 1, followed in 1972 the municipality Westernbach.

Coat of arms and flag
The blazon of the coat of arms Two Flinger is: In silver with a border, hersehenden black lions ( leopards ) with untergeschlagenem tail, three crossed with the green ears of corn stalks. The municipal flag is green and white.
Following local government reform in the church adopted a coat of arms, which refers to the agricultural sector and on represented by Hohenlohe leopard belonging to Hohenlohe as common to all districts. Coat of arms and flag were presented to the community on March 1, 1974 from the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Interior.
Economy and infrastructure
Zweiflingen is a predominantly agricultural community even today.
Traffic
By municipality, the provincial roads L 1050 and L lead 1048. The nearest motorway junction is the junction 41 ( New Stone ) of the Federal Highway 6 in about 8 km over New stone.
The public transport is ensured by the Heilbronner Hohenlohe Haller transport.
The nearest train station is in Öhringen along the route of the railway line Crailsheim -Heilbronn in about 8 km away.
Long distance routes
By districts Pfahlbach and Wersternbach leads the German Limes Cycle Route. It follows the Upper Germanic - Rhaetian Limes 818 km from Bad Hönningen am Rhein to Regensburg on the Danube.
Culture and sights
When the district Pfahlbach the Roman border wall ( limes ) is particularly well preserved to almost 300 m in length with a bank and ditch. Built in the early 18th century hunting lodge Friedrich rest in the same two Flinger district Friedrich rest now serves as a luxury hotel.
Personalities
In the district Orendelsall the poet Ludwig Amandus Bauer (1803-1846) was born. He wrote several dramas to a collaboration with his friend Eduard Moerike devised myth Orplid.
