The Zwingenberg ( Bergstr ) station has a Grade I listed station building. The cultural monument stands in Zwingenberg on the mountain road.

History

1845/46 the station for Frankfurt am Main to Heidelberg leading Main-Neckar Railway was built. The design for the station to be from the Darmstadt city architect Georg Moller.

The plans for the 1845/46 built station probably derived from the Darmstadt court architect Georg Moller. Originally the station was built as a two-story building with roof skylights. Years later, he was then increased by one and a half storeys. Likewise, two smaller buildings were added. Built in yellow sandstone main building has three floors.
