Zygmunt Malanowicz

Zygmunt Malanowicz ( born February 4, 1938 in Korkożyszki in Vilnius ) is a Polish actor, director and screenwriter.

Zygmunt Malanowicz received his acting training at the Film School in Łódź. He graduated in 1963. While still a student, he played the juvenile lead role in Roman Polanski's Knife in the Water. His first theater roles after graduation he received in the 1960s in Zielona Góra, Nowa Huta and poses. In the 1970s, he was engaged in Kielce on Common Theatre in Łódź and the Żeromski Theatre. Since 1980, played in Warsaw theater. First, until 1982 at the Teatr Studio, then from 1982 to 1991 at Teatru Rozmaitości. Since 2000 he is part of the ensemble of the Teatr Dramatyczny. As a screenwriter, he wrote jointly with Andrzej Wajda the screenplay for the film Wyrok na Franciszka Klosa.
