1970–71 1re série season

The 1970/71 season was the 49th season of the 1re série, the highest French Hockey League. Champion for the 26th time overall in club history the Chamonix Hockey Club.

Mode

In the main round of the league was divided into two groups ( Paris-Nord and Alpes- Provence). The winner of the group Paris-Nord and the two winners of the Alpes -Provence qualified directly for the finals, while the runner-up of the group Paris-Nord and the third place winner of group Alpes- Provence to the last remaining space for the final round contest a play-off. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
