1976–77 DDR-Oberliga (ice hockey) season
In the GDR 's Ice Hockey Championship 1976/77 this time all parts of the Oberliga Berlin were carried out because the Weißwasseraner stadium was not available due to reconstruction measures. The ongoing home advantage of the Berlin titleholder should eventually tip the balance and the capital club bestow his fifth overall title. Even if the two clearest victories throughout the series went on the account of guests from the Lausitz, they ultimately only delayed the final decision, which was then in the penultimate round reality.
In the best of determining the crew of BSG monsator Berlin for the second time in a row the title, while the record winner Crimmitschau the immediate re- promotion to the A group won.
