1998–99 Élite Ligue season

The 1998/99 season was the 77th season of the Élite League, the highest French Hockey League. Champion for the first time in club history in general of the HC Amiens Somme.

Mode

The main round was carried out in two seasonal phases, with the ten teams completed 18 games in each season phase. The top eight teams in the second season phase qualified for the playoffs, where the Master was played. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
