Season overview

The Bundesliga season 2001/ 02 shaped like no other the image of the eternal Second Bayer 04 Leverkusen. After 31 Matchday Leverkusen had as the leader five points clear in the table. They were as fed into the DFB Cup and Champions League finals and faced a possible triple triumph.
