2006 World Wrestling Championships

The Wrestling World Championships 2006 took place from 25 September to 1 October 2006, held in Guangzhou. It was fought in both the Greco-Roman and free style. The wrestlers were divided into seven weight classes. A total of 435 wrestlers, including 220 in the Greco-Roman and 215 freestyle, and 164 wrestlers participate.
