2008 Qatar Ladies Open
The Qatar Total Open 2008 was the 8th edition of the hard court tennis tournament for women in Doha. It was a tournament of the Tier I category of the WTA Tour in 2008. The tournament was held from 18 to 24 February 2008.
In individual Marija Sharapova defeated Vera Swonarjowa with 6:1, 2:6 and 6:0. In doubles, Kveta Peschke pairing / Rennae Stubbs won with 6:1, 5:7 and 10:7 against Cara Black / Liezel Huber.
