2009–10 OFC Champions League

The OFC Champions League 2009/10 was the ninth sending a oceanic Champions competition for club teams in football and was held from October 17, 2009 until May 2, first time in 2010 with eight clubs from seven countries instead. The teams came from Fiji, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands by, from Tahiti and Vanuatu. The Auckland City FC New Zealand qualified for the tournament as defending champions. The remaining seven teams qualified by virtue of their positions in their domestic league. A qualifying round did not take place in this season. The eight clubs played in two groups of three home and away games the participants in the finals of.

The winner was surprisingly Hekari United FC from Papua New Guinea. In order to win for the first time a team from outside Australia and New Zealand, the OFC Champions League. Hekari United qualified with this success for the FIFA Club World Cup 2010 in the UA Emirates.

Top scorers of the competition were Kema Jack from Papua New Guinea and the New Zealander Daniel Koprivcic with 7 hits.
