The Aida Luna is a cruise ship of Carnival Corporation & plc. It is used for driving under the specially focused on the German market corporate brand AIDA Cruises. It is operated under the Italian flag by Costa Crociere in Genoa.

She was commissioned as the sixth " club ship " of the AIDA fleet in service in early 2009. Except for minor differences, it is identical with its seven sister ships of the Sphinx class, especially with the one and two years before you put into service new buildings Aida Bella and Aida Diva.

History

The Aida Luna was supported by the German Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, under the project name: built AIDA SPHINX II. The keel-laying ceremony took place on March 29, 2008. On the morning of February 22, 2009, the transfer was made by the EMS.
