Alegria (Surigao del Norte)
Alegria (Filipino: Bayan ng Alegria ) is a Philippine municipality in the province of Surigao del Norte, Administrative Region XIII, Caraga. It has 14,539 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 12 barangays. It is classified as a community of the fifth income class in the Philippines and as a partially urbanized.
Alegria is located on the shores of Lake Mainit, about 47 km south of Surigao City and is accessible via the Marhalika Highway. Your neighboring municipalities are Tubod and Mainit in the north, Gigaquit in the east, Bacuag in the Northeast.
