Claver (Surigao del Norte)

Claver is a Philippine municipality in the province of Surigao del Norte.

It is located in the north of the large island of Mindanao, 60 km southeast of the provincial capital of Surigao City and Surigao City via the coastal road - accessible Tandag.

It has 23 702 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ). Large parts of the municipality is mining area for the exploitation of the largest iron ore deposit in the world.
