Gigaquit (Filipino: Bayan ng Gigaquit ) is a Philippine municipality in the province of Surigao del Norte, Administrative Region XIII, Caraga. It has 18,784 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 13 barangays. It is classified as the fourth income class municipality in the Philippines and as a partially urbanized.

Gigaquit located on the coast of the Philippine Sea, 61 km south-east of Surigao City and is accessible via the coastal road Surigao City - Tandag accessible. Your neighboring municipalities are Bacuag the northwest, Claver in the east and Alegria to the west.
