Aleksandr Kulakov

Alyaksandr Wiktarawitsch Kulakou (White Russian Аляксандр Віктаравіч Кулакоў, Russian Александр Викторович Кулаков / Alexander Viktorovich Kulakov; born May 15, 1983 in Minsk, Byelorussian SSR) is a Belarusian professional ice hockey player of the Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in the Kontinental Hockey League under since May 2013 contract stands.

Career

Alyaksandr Kulakou began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at HK Junost Minsk, for its professional team, he made his debut in the Belarusian Extraliga in the 2000 /01 season. Then, the attacker moved to the city neighbors HK Keramin Minsk, with whom he won the 2002 Double from Belarusian champions and cup. After one season at HK Vitebsk he signed for season 2003/ 04, at HK Dinamo Minsk, with whom he won the 2005 and 2006 national cup competition, and in the season 2006/ 07 the national championship. Only a few games during the season 2003/ 04 he ran in parallel on for his former club HK Junost Minsk and in the playoffs the following season for Chimik -SKA Nawapolazk.

For Dinamo Minsk Kulakou scored in the 2008/ 09 season in the newly formed Kontinental Hockey League in 37 games six goals and prepare for another ten before. The playing time he finished, however, in the Extraliga with his former club Keramin Minsk. For the 2009/10 season, the national team returned to the KHL Dinamo's squad. In the following four years he completed game for Dinamo over 200 KHL games before he was in May 2013 committed Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod.

Internationally

For Belarus Kulakou took at junior level at the U18 World Junior Championship in 2000 and the U18 B Junior World Cup 2001, as well as the U20 Junior World Champion 2001 sheep, 2002 and 2003 in part. In the senior level, he joined for Belarus at the World Championships in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 and the Olympic Winter Games 2010.
