Alexandru Ioniţă

Alexandru Octavian Ioniţă (* August 5, 1989 in Bucharest ) is a Romanian football player.

Career

The striker played in the youth since 1999 for Viscofil Bucharest. In 2006, Ioniţă to Rapid Bucharest and played initially in the reserve team. In the 2007 /08 season he was loaned to AFC Rocar Bucharest. In early 2009 he returned to Rapid and scored in the 2009/10 season ten goals in 27 games.

Ioniţă changed on 1 July 2010 to 1 FC Köln. There he graduated 15 August 2010 in the DFB Cup against the ZFC Meuselwitz his first game and gave two weeks later on 28 August against Werder Bremen made ​​his Bundesliga debut when he came on in the 77th minute for the game Milivoje Novakovič.

During the winter break of 2011/12 the 1st FC Cologne Ioniţă gave to his former club Rapid Bucharest until season's end. On August 31, 2012, his contract was canceled with the 1st FC Cologne. He eventually moved permanently back to Rapid Bucharest.

His contract was not renewed in the summer of 2013. On August 1, 2013 Ioniţă signed with the Turkish second division club Orduspor a three-year contract.

Internationally

Ioniţă 2009 saw his debut for the Romanian Under-21 national team and played until 2010 8 without scoring games.
