Chalco ( Aluminum Corporation of China Ltd., Chinese中国 铝业 股份有限公司, abbreviation: .中国 铝业) is a Chinese aluminum producer. The company is listed on the stock index SSE 50.

The parent company is the Chinese state company CHINALCO ( Aluminum Corporation of China - without " Ltd. ").

Positioning in the market

Chalco claims to be the largest aluminum producer in China and the third largest worldwide. According to the company 70 percent of China's demand for aluminum from Chalco be covered. One of the largest shareholders with a share of eight percent of the world's largest aluminum producer Alcoa (USA).
