Andy Reiss

André "Andy" Reiss ( born May 17, 1986 in Hannover ) is a German professional ice hockey player who plays for Augsburger Panther of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga for the 2013/14 season. His brother Daniel is also a professional hockey player.

Career

André Reiss began his career at the Hannover Indians, where his father worked as a trainer and played his brother. The defender joined the DEL 2002/03 season at the Hannover Scorpions, for which he stood until 2013, except for the 2003/04 season, who spent the links Sagittarius at the Oshawa Generals of the Canadian Junior Football League OHL under contract. The 2012/13 season was marked for André Reiss of sick leave. The defender fell ill on glandular fever and was only in 40 of 52 games for the Hannover Scorpions on the ice. After ten seasons with the Hannover Scorpions in which he completed 393 games, André Reiss decided for the season 2013/14 to a switch to Premier League rivals Augsburger Panther. There he signed a one year contract.
