John Zeiler

John Zeiler ( born November 21, 1982 in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since 2011 in the Augsburger Panther in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract.

Career

John Zeiler began his career as a hockey player with the Sioux City Musketeers, which until 2002 he was active from 2000 in the United States Hockey League. He was then in the fifth round as the 132nd overall player selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2002 by the Phoenix Coyotes, for which, however, he never played. After the attacker was from 2002 to 2006 for the St. Lawrence University in the National Collegiate Athletic Association on the ice, he finished the 2005/06 season as a free agent with San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League. In summer 2006, Zeiler was initially a contract with the AHL team Manchester Monarchs, pledged their cooperation partners, the Los Angeles Kings him during the season 2006/ 07. For the Kings, he came regularly in the following years in the NHL for use. For the 2011/12 season Zeiler has been committed by the Augsburger Panther of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. On March 7, 2012, announced that he has extended his contract for the 2012/13 season.
