Arrondissement of Yssingeaux
The Yssingeaux Arrondissement is an administrative district in the Haute- Loire in the Auvergne region of France.
History
On 4 March 1790, established with the founding of the Haute -Loire is also a " district Yssingeaux " which coincided essentially with the present arrondissement. The district was transferred to the establishment of the Arrondissements on February 17, 1800 the new district Yssingeaux.
From September 10 1926 to June 1, 1942, the district temporarily resolved part of the Arrondissement Le Puy -en -Velay.

Geography
The district is bordered to the north by the arrondissements Montbrison and Saint -Étienne in the Loire department ( Rhone- Alpes), in the southeast of the arrondissement of Tournon -sur -Rhône département Ardèche, also Rhone-Alpes region, and to the south and west by the district Le Puy -en -Velay.
