Azoudange
Azoudange is a commune with 117 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. She is a member of the Communauté de Communes du Pays des Étangs.
Geography
The municipality is located in the source area of the Azoudange seille between Linder pond ( Etang de Lindre ) and Gunderchinger pond ( Thau Gondrexange ), about 20 kilometers west of Sarrebourg. The territory of Azoudange is part of the Regional Natural Park of Lorraine.
The commune includes the two hamlets
- Toupee ( Tupethof ), northwest of the town, and
- Romécourt ( Römerhof ) together with the eponymous castle, facing south.
History
The village belongs since 1681 to France. From 1915 to 1918, carried the Germanized name Anslingen 1940-1944 it was Aßlingen.
