Barkam County

Barkam ( Barkham ) is a district of the Autonomous Prefecture of Tibetan and Qiang Ngawa in the north of China's Sichuan province. Its main town is the large village Barkam (马尔康 镇), Pinyin: Ma'erkang.

The village Zhuokeji Tusiguan ( Zhuokeji tusiguan zhai卓克基 土司 官寨) from the time of the Qing Dynasty and the Diaolou in Zhibo ( Zhibo Diaolou直 波 碉楼), ie the village Zhibo (直 波 村) of the greater community Songgang (松岗 镇) are, since 1988 and 2001 respectively on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China.
