Berezan

Beresan (Ukrainian and Russian Березань ) is a city in the Kiev Oblast. It lies about 70 km east of Kiev in Ukraine.

History

Beresan was first mentioned in the 17th century. The status of a city, the place has since 1981, he is directly subordinate to the oblast in this position since 1993.

Traffic

Beresan is located just off the M -03 ( European Route 40) between Kiev and Kharkov, north of downtown Beresan has since 1901 a railway station on the route Kyiv - Poltava.
