Myronivka

Myroniwka (Ukrainian Миронівка; Russian Мироновка / Mironovka ) is a city in the south of Kiev Oblast in Ukraine with about 12,000 inhabitants ( 2013).

The city, founded in the first half of the 17th century on the banks of Rossawa (Ukrainian Росава ), a 90 km long left tributary of the Ros 102 km south of Kiev and is the administrative center of the homonymous Rajons. Since 1968 Myroniwka has the status of a city. Part of the city, next to Myroniwka, yet the village Nowa Olexanderiwka (Ukrainian Нова Олександрівка ) with about 80 residents. Through the town the highway and the railway line Fastiw - Zwitkowe running.
