Big Fat Liar

Lies have short legs (AKA: Big Fat Liar ) is an American comedy film from the year 2002 was directed by Shawn Levy, the screenplay is by Brian Robbins and Dan Schneider. . The main roles were played by Frankie Muniz and Paul Giamatti.

Action

Jason Shepherd is regarded as a notorious liar. One day he accidentally gets into the car of film producer Marty Wolf. There Shepherd loses his school essay, the wolf uses as a template for the script of his new film.

Nobody believes Shepherd that he is the actual author of the filmed story. He and his friend Kaylee go to Hollywood, where Shepherd first examined an amicable settlement with Wolf and revenge, as it turns out that no agreement is possible. Assistance is provided by numerous people, including Wolf's assistant, the wolf attacked enemies.

At the end of Wolf walks into a trap and are to front of the cameras to have stolen the story.

Roger Ebert called the film in the Chicago Sun - Times, February 8, 2002 as a surprisingly entertaining ( surprisingly entertaining ) as well as charming and compared it with the comedy Spy Kids.

Michael O'Sullivan wrote in the Washington Post, 8 February 2002, the film would manage to be simultaneously sweet and to satisfy the vicious inclinations of the audience. He described the film as a good conversation ( good fun ).

Claudia Puig called the film in the USA Today February 8, 2002 as narcissistic. She scoffed, the comedy would in places like advertising for Universal Studios act. Puig praised the charm of Frankie Muniz, the character of Marty Wolf described it as so hopeless despicable that he would look implausible.

Awards

Amanda Bynes and Frankie Muniz were nominated in 2002 for the Teen Choice Award. Amanda Bynes won the 2003 Kids' Choice Award and was nominated for the Young Artist Award. Another nomination for the Young Artist Award in the film as Best Comedy.
