Bourg-Blanc

Bourg- Blanc ( Breton Ar Vourc'h - If ) is a commune in the north- west of Brittany in the département of Finistère with 3402 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Location

The place is located about 12 kilometers south of the Atlantic Ocean coast at the entrance of the English Channel. The major city and port of Brest is located 12 km south of Paris and about 500 km to the east (in straight line ).

Infrastructure

In Brest there is the next departures of the expressways E 50 E 60 direction towards Rennes and Nantes. The station is the terminus of Brest regional train lines towards Rennes and Nantes and the TGV Atlantique to Paris. Only 6 km south of the village near the city of Brest is the regional airport Aéroport de Brest Bretagne.
