Le Drennec

Le Drennec ( Breton to Dreneg ) is a commune in north-western Brittany, in Finistère department in 1793 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Location

The place is located around 12 kilometers (km) south of the Atlantic coast at the entrance of the English Channel. The major city and port of Brest is 18 km south-west of Paris and about 500 km to the east (in straight line ).

Infrastructure

In Brest there is the next departures of the expressways E 50 E 60 direction towards Rennes and Nantes. The station is the terminus of Brest regional train lines towards Rennes and Nantes and the TGV Atlantique to Paris. Only 510 km south of the village near the city of Brest is the regional airport Aéroport de Brest Bretagne.
