Plouvien

Plouvien ( Plouvien Breton ) is a commune in the north- west of Brittany in the département of Finistère with 3700 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Location

The site is located approximately 10 kilometers (km) south of the Atlantic Ocean coast at the entrance of the English Channel. The major city and port of Brest is located 15 km south of Paris and about 500 km to the east (in straight line ).

Infrastructure

In Brest there is the next departures of the expressways E 50 E 60 direction towards Rennes and Nantes. The station is the terminus of Brest regional train lines in the direction of Morlaix / Rennes and Quimper / Nantes and the TGV Atlantique to Paris. Just 10 km south of the village near the city of Brest is the regional airport Aéroport de Brest Bretagne.
