Brady Leisenring

Brady Leisenring ( born September 7, 1982 in Stowe, Vermont ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is under contract with Västerås IK in the HockeyAllsvenskan since April 2012.

Career

Brady Leisenring began his career in the United States National Team Development Program by the Federation of USA Hockey in the North American Hockey League. In 2001 he moved to the University of Vermont hockey team in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. He played professionally from the 2005/06 season in the ECHL and the American Hockey League.

His first professional contract in Germany he had in the 2008/09 season at the SERC Wild Wings from the 2nd Bundesliga. From there he moved for the following season 2009/10 to the Landshut Cannibals and from there during the season to the Hannover Indians.

After another year in the U.S. Leisenring came in July 2011, again in the 2nd Bundesliga, this time to the ESV Kaufbeuren.

For the season 2012/13 he moved to the Swedish second division VIK Västerås HK.

Internationally

Leisenring participated with the U.S. selection of the U18 World Youth Championship 2000. During the tournament, he completed six games and scored one goal and two assists.
