Cengio

Cengio ( in Ligurian: Cengë ) is a municipality with 3682 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Italian region of Liguria. Politically it belongs to the province of Savona.

Geography

Cengio located in the Val Bormida, in the northern section of the Ligurian Apennines, near the Colle di Cadibona. The municipality belongs to the Comunità Montana Alta Val Bormida and is about 31 kilometers from the provincial capital Savona.
