Čierne Kľačany

Čierne Kľačany ( Klatschan German, Hungarian Feketekelecsény ) is a municipality in western Slovakia. It is located in the Danube hill country, about 5 km from Zlaté Moravce and 32 km from Nitra away.

The village was first mentioned in writing in 1209. She is known for the Pyxis from the Great Moravian period.

In 2012, a 7000 years old settlement was discovered during the construction of R1. In previous years, a tomb with more than 200 graves from the 11th century, as well as a Pyxis of ivory, which dates from the 5th century discovered.
