Coat of arms of Egypt

The national coat of arms of Egypt is the Eagle of Saladin and is also the emblem of the national flag and in this form since October 4, 1984 in use.

In the claws of the eagle of Saladin carries a tape with the Arabic name of Egypt: Misr al - ʿ Dschumhūriyyat arabiyya / جمهورية مصرالعربية /, Arab Republic of Egypt '.
