David Frost (Golfer)

David Laurence Frost ( born September 11, 1959 in Cape Town ) is a South African professional golfer. His more than twenty tournament victories spread over four continents and the tournament series PGA Tour, European Tour, Sunshine Tour, Asian Tour, Japan Golf Tour and Champions Tour since 2010.

Frost 1981 professional golfer and first played on the native Sunshine Tour and the European Tour. From 1985, he worked mainly on the North American PGA Tour, where he achieved a total of ten tournament victories. Frost reached the meantime the top 10 World Golf Rankings and was drafted into the International team at the Presidents Cup in 1994 and 1996. As captain, won the 1997 and 1998 in the South African team with Ernie Els and Retief Goosen the Alfred Dunhill Cup.

David Frost is married to Corrie and has five children. He also runs a prestigious winery, Frost Vineyards, in his home country and appoints its products to golf legends such as Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer.
