Dzhankoy

Dschankoj (Ukrainian and Russian Джанкой; Crimean Tatar Canköy ) is a city under direct management in Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. It is the seat of the homonymous Rajonsverwaltung Rajons Dschankoj, but even the same part no.

Geography

Dschankoj located in the north of the Crimean peninsula, near the North - Crimean channel. The city is located 96 km north of Simferopol.

History
