The European Cup Winners 'Cup, English EHF Cup Winners' Cup, was for many years the second top European league for handball club teams. She stood in their meaning clearly behind the Champions League, formerly the European Cup champion, but before the EHF Cup and the EHF Challenge Cup.

History and Regulations
The European Cup Winners' Cup was held in 1976 for men and 1977 for women. In the season 2011/12 he was the last time discharged at the men and then combined with the EHF Cup for EHF European Cup. Most recently, he not only limited to the Cup Winners' Cup, the teams that were eliminated in the group stage as group parties from the Champions League, took part in it. For men, this was from the second round, in which the winner moved in from the third round; among women from the quarter- finals, in which the winner feed from the fourth round.
