Fading (song)
Fading is a song by Barbadian singer Rihanna originating from from her fifth studio album Loud. The song was written by Jamal James and Ester Dean, while production of the song has since taken over by Don Polow.
Background
The recordings for Loud began in February 2010 and lasted six months. The work overlapped with her Last Girl on Earth Tour and the pivot for the film Battleship (2012 ) by made her film debut. Early March 2011, Rihanna asked her fans, who should be the next single after "S & M " from Loud. Via Twitter asked Rihanna if she should take " Cheers ( Drink to That) ", " Man Down ", " California King Bed " or " Fading".
