FC Bihor Oradea

The FC Bihor Oradea is a Romanian football club based in Oradea. He plays since 2004 in the second Romanian football league, the League II The greatest successes of the association are five climbs to the highest Romanian football league, league one, where he has played a total of 18 years.

History

FC Bihor Oradea was established in 1958 initially as Crisul Oradea - named after the rapids yelp (Romanian Crisul Repede ), lies on the Oradea - Founded and first played in the Regional Championship of Oradea. In subsequent years, FC Bihor first tried in vain to return to the Divizia A. From 1996 to 1998 the club played even in the third-class Divizia C. In 2001 the club name was changed to FC Oradea and two years later finally managed to rise again after being able to prevail in the relegation matches against Otelul Galati. Then Ioan Petcu was introduced as the new coach on July 6, 2009.

On July 30, 2009, Gheorghe Alexandrescu, the new president of FC Bihor Oradea, announced that the club had over two million RON debt and entered on 10 August 2009 together with his son, the Vice-President Adrian Alexandrescu after only 45 days of tenure back. Only after the player accepted pay cuts of 15 to 30 percent, gave the city council and the county council, the financial support the team, on 11 August 2009 the green light to participate in the League II 2009/10. After the home defeat against FC Baia Mare on October 24, 2009, the contract with coach Ioan Petcu was dissolved.
